Privacy
What this site collects.
Short, because there is not much.
ambioedge.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. There are no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The only personal data we handle is what you type into the contact form or give us when you book a call. This page says where it goes and how to get it removed.

Who we are
Ambio Edge Networks is a brand of Ambio IT Solutions LLC, a California limited liability company. Mailing address: 455 Market St #1940 PMB 876072, San Francisco, CA 94105. Privacy questions go to [email protected] or (916) 915-3335. The person reading that mailbox is the engineer who runs the company.
What we collect, and when
Contact form
When you submit the form on the contact page we receive the fields you fill in: name, email address, phone number, company, the service you are asking about, and your message. The form also records the page you submitted from, the referring page if your browser sends one, any campaign tags in the URL (the utm_ parameters), the submission time, and your answer to the optional “How did you hear about us?” question.
To tell which search or listing brought you in even when you browse a few pages first, every page stores a small first-visit record in your browser's local storage: the time, the path of the first page you landed on, the domain name of the site that sent you (for example google.com; never the full address or search terms), and any utm_, gclid or msclkid tags that were in that first URL. Nothing else is read from your browser. The record stays in your browser for 90 days and is sent to us only if you submit the contact form, where it becomes part of your enquiry in our CRM. If you never submit the form, it never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time by clearing site data for ambioedge.com.
Submissions are delivered to our customer-relationship system, Zoho CRM, where they are stored as a lead record. The form's server-side handler keeps an operational log of each submission's outcome (accepted, rejected, blocked as a bot) without the submitted content.
Booking a call
The booking buttons on this site open Zoho Bookings on a Zoho-hosted page. Whatever you enter there (name, email, phone, chosen time) is stored in our Zoho account and creates a calendar event. Zoho's own privacy policy applies to the booking page itself.
Email and phone
If you email or call us we keep the correspondence for as long as the conversation or any resulting engagement is active, plus our normal record-keeping period for business records.
Customers
Once you are a customer, the data we hold about your organization and network is governed by the Master Services Agreement and any Business Associate Agreement we sign with you, not by this page.
Cookies and local storage
We set no cookies for analytics or advertising and we do not use a tag manager. Specifically:
- Theme preference. If you switch the site between dark and light, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage under one key. It never leaves your browser.
- First-visit record. One local-storage key holding the landing page, referring domain and campaign tags of your first visit, kept 90 days, sent to us only with a contact-form submission (details above).
- Bot protection on the contact form. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie on the contact page to do that. It is strictly necessary for the form to work and is not used to track you across sites.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare's edge may set security-related cookies and keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention, which Cloudflare retains for a limited period under its own policy.
Because none of these are tracking cookies, consent is not required and we do not ask for it. For traffic counts we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not identify you.
What we do with it
- Reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, prepare a proposal.
- Keep a record of the conversation in our CRM so a later call does not start from zero.
- Understand which pages or listings generate enquiries.
We do not sell personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling. We send no marketing email lists; any follow-up you receive is a person replying to your enquiry.
Third parties that handle data on our behalf
- Zoho Corporation (CRM, bookings, email, invoicing). United States data centers.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, DNS, cookieless web analytics, Turnstile bot protection, contact-form delivery).
Each acts as a service provider under contract and may not use the data for its own purposes.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted from the CRM after 24 months of inactivity, or sooner on request. Correspondence and records tied to a contract are kept for the life of the engagement and the period California law requires for business records, then deleted.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We answer within 30 days and usually much sooner. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA; our volume is far below the thresholds that make the Act apply, but we honor access and deletion requests regardless.
We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because we do not track in the first place.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes, such as adding analytics, will be noted here in plain language.
