Cambium Network Rescue · Support
Updated 2026-10-11
Cambium Networks Limited has been in UK administration since September 14, 2026. Some product lines now belong to Airspan; the rest have no confirmed owner. That leaves owners asking a simple question with a messy answer: who do I call? This page gives the official routes first, then which vendor path applies to each product line, then what an independent engineer can and can’t do for you. Enterprise Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE come first because that is where an independent network engineer can do the most. For ePMP and PMP we work on the network side only, and we say so.
Independent. Ambio Edge Networks is an independent network engineering firm. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or a partner of Cambium Networks, Airspan Networks, Univastu or the administrators (RSM UK). Product names are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify the equipment we work on.
Status as of 2026-10-11
Cambium Networks Limited entered UK administration; RSM UK Restructuring Advisory appointed (SEC Form 8-K).
Airspan bought PMP 450, PTP 670/700/450i/450V, cnWave, cnReach, LINKPlanner, cnHeat and the defense business, and says it has assumed warranty and support for them.
Univastu has been in exclusivity with the administrators for the remaining assets since 2026-09-30. Not closed as of 2026-10-11. ePMP, enterprise Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE have no confirmed owner.
Airspan moves its lines to a new support system “by the end of October”. Cambium says cnMaestro Cloud “may not support Enterprise devices post the end of October, 2026.” We plan around October 31.
The Cambium status page showed all components operational on 2026-10-11. Background on the administration and the full timeline: Cambium Networks administration: what owners do now. Product-by-product ownership: Airspan and Cambium: who owns each product line.
Cambium support phone, portal and tickets
Yes. The official routes were still published on 2026-10-11. Use them first: a ticket number is your record if a warranty or contract question comes up later.

As listed on Cambium’s contact-support page on 2026-10-11, with regional numbers for other countries. Support is in English only.
Cambium publishes standard support as business hours, 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Cambium Care customers are listed with round-the-clock hours. Those are Cambium’s published hours, not a promise anyone will answer during the administration.
In Cambium Community thread 109057 (2026-10-05) an operator reported two cnMaestro tickets open since 2026-09-22 with only automated replies. Thread 108849 (post 184, 2026-09-30) has a similar report. These are operator reports, not an official statement.
Getting a faster answer: put the serial number, firmware version, product line and the exact error text in the first message, and attach a tech-support file if the device produces one. If the issue is a configuration or network problem rather than a defect, you don’t need the manufacturer to fix it.
By product line
Pick per product line, not per company. Many estates have two or three of these rows.
| Product line | Owner as of 2026-10-11 | Vendor support route | Contracts and warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enterprise Wi-Fi (cnPilot, XV, XE), cnMatrix switches, NSE | Not bought by Airspan. Univastu in exclusivity for remaining assets; not closed. | Cambium’s current support process. | No new owner has stated a position. |
| ePMP | Not bought by Airspan. Same as above. | Cambium’s current support process. | No new owner has stated a position. |
| PMP 450, PTP 670/700/450i/450V, cnWave, cnReach, cnHeat, LINKPlanner | Airspan Networks (sale 2026-09-22). | Keep using the current Cambium process until Airspan’s new system launches by the end of October; [email protected]. | Airspan says Cambium Care, cnMaestro X, extended warranty and advance replacement continue for these lines. |
| PTP 820/850 licensed microwave | Not bought by Airspan; Airspan is in discussions with the OEM supplier. | Cambium’s current process, plus the distributor that sold the link. | Not stated. |

Enterprise Wi-Fi, cnMatrix, NSE
These are the lines with no confirmed owner, and the ones most tied to cnMaestro Cloud.
Cambium’s 2026-09-23 statement committed cnMaestro Cloud “through at least October 2026, including support of the entire enterprise product portfolio.” Its guidance post in thread 108849 says the cloud “may not support Enterprise devices post the end of October, 2026.” October 31 is our planning date, not a date Cambium has published. Your options: cnMaestro Cloud after October 31.
cnMaestro On-Premises can run on hardware you own. Cambium’s own steps need the cloud and the Cloud Anchor to be reachable. Step by step: cnMaestro on premises migration.
NSE is not supported in cnMaestro On-Premises. Cambium released an NSE 2.5 beta for NSE 3000/4000 with a local web interface (thread 108960, updated 2026-10-08). Read the thread before you rely on it.
Access points and switches keep passing traffic without a controller. Replace on a budget cycle. Where FortiGate and FortiAP fit, we design and run the move as a Fortinet Engage Partner (Advocate tier). That is a Fortinet relationship, not a Cambium one.
ePMP and PMP
We don’t do RF. If your problem is a link budget, interference, alignment or a tower, you need an RF specialist or a field installer, and we will tell you that on the first call.
No confirmed owner; vendor support stays with Cambium’s current process. Operators in thread 109057 asked specifically about cnMaestro support for ePMP and got no staff answer. Keep your configs and firmware in your own archive: Cambium firmware download and license keys: what to save.
Airspan owns these lines and says existing service contracts continue. Airspan also says “There is no plan to discontinue cnMaestro.” Cambium kept the cnMaestro software and licensed it to Airspan (8-K filed 2026-09-28).
RCR Wireless’s advice to WISPs (2026-09-23) was to buy spares and prioritize access points over subscriber modules. Base the count on your own failure history, not a rule of thumb.
The network behind the radios: VLANs, routing, DHCP, firewall, SNMP monitoring of the radios, controller and configuration work, documentation, and replacement planning. Remote anywhere in the US; on site in Sacramento and the Bay Area.
Licensed microwave
Airspan did not buy the PTP 820/850 licensed-microwave line. Its FAQ says: “We are in discussions with the OEM supplier of the PTP 820/850 for Cambium. Our objective is to reach an agreement that enables us to sell and support licensed microwave solutions.” Nothing had been announced as of 2026-10-11. Until something is, use Cambium’s current process, ask the distributor that sold you the links, and save each radio’s configuration and licence details now. We can monitor the links and handle the network around them; we don’t do microwave path engineering.
Cambium Care and cnMaestro X
Airspan says Cambium Care, cnMaestro X, extended warranty and advance-replacement contracts continue for the products it bought. Ask for renewals through the current Cambium process or [email protected].
No owner has committed to renewals for ePMP, Wi-Fi, cnMatrix or NSE. An operator in thread 109051 (post 35, 2026-10-08) asked whether anyone was still at Cambium to extend a trial or sell month to month. Don’t prepay for a long term until an owner is confirmed.
If one cnMaestro account holds Airspan-owned and ePMP or Wi-Fi devices, Airspan says it “can only commit to supporting the products that have been acquired by Airspan.” Treat the two halves as separate support problems.
Questions about prepaid contracts or amounts owed go to the administrators: [email protected]. We can’t give legal or creditor advice.
Warranty and RMA
From Cambium’s warranty page on 2026-10-11:
For Airspan-owned lines (PMP 450, PTP 670/700/450i/450V, cnWave, cnReach) the question is answered: Airspan says it has assumed all warranty and support commitments. Do now: list serial numbers and purchase dates, keep proof of purchase, open RMAs for anything already failing, and ask your distributor how it is handling returns. We can’t open or process RMAs for you.
Cambium third-party support
Third-party (or “3rd party”) support for Cambium gear means engineering help, not manufacturer entitlements. Here is the line.
How to engage
Business hours Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 Pacific. We reply within one business day.
Troubleshooting, configuration and network-side work. 1-hour minimum, 15-minute increments. Anything expected to run over 2 hours gets a written estimate before work starts.
cnMaestro On-Premises stand-up, migrations and replacement design. Written estimate first. Same-day emergency work during business hours is +50%, 2-hour minimum.
One site, up to three switch groups (a stack counts as one), 100 connected devices and 6 access points. Larger estates and WISP networks are priced by size on our assessment pricing page.
Scope and onboarding quoted after an inventory. Monitoring only: alerts route to your team, no changes included, no engineer response target; any work bills at the hourly rate. How the monitoring works.
On site: 3-hour minimum per visit, plus a $250 truck-roll fee beyond 25 miles of Sacramento and mileage at the IRS rate.
FAQ
As of 2026-10-11 Cambium still lists its support routes: the Support Center at support.cambiumnetworks.com and the US/Canada toll-free line +1-888-863-5250. Its published hours are 9am–5pm Monday–Friday for standard support and round-the-clock for Cambium Care customers. Operators in Cambium Community thread 109057 (2026-10-05) report tickets open since late September with only automated replies. Open the ticket anyway so there is a record, and plan as if the answer may be slow.
Airspan says ePMP was not part of its purchase and points ePMP owners to Cambium Networks. Univastu has been in exclusivity with the administrators for the remaining assets since 2026-09-30; that deal has not closed. Until it does, the vendor route for ePMP is Cambium’s normal support process. Independent engineers, including us, can help on the network side: controller, configuration, VLANs, routing, DHCP and SNMP monitoring.
Yes, for engineering work. An independent engineer can troubleshoot, document, monitor and migrate a Cambium network. What a third party can’t give you is anything only the manufacturer controls: licences, RMAs, warranty, firmware entitlements or the Cloud Anchor. We are not a hardware-maintenance company and don’t stock Cambium spares.
For the product lines Airspan bought, Airspan says Cambium Care, cnMaestro X, extended warranty and advance-replacement contracts continue; ask through the current Cambium support process or [email protected]. For ePMP and enterprise products, no new owner has committed to anything. An operator in Cambium Community thread 109051 (2026-10-08) asked whether anyone was still at Cambium to extend a trial or sell month to month. Questions about money you have already prepaid go to the administrators at [email protected].
Cambium’s published warranty is one year from the first end user’s purchase, not transferable, and extendable to five years in total. For the lines Airspan bought, Airspan says it has assumed all warranty and support commitments. For ePMP, Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE, nobody has said either way during the administration. Log RMAs now, keep proof of purchase and serial numbers, and ask your distributor how it is handling returns.
Start with Cambium’s normal support process and the distributor that sold you the link. Airspan did not buy PTP 820/850. It says it is in discussions with the OEM supplier of those products, with the aim of selling and supporting them. Nothing had been announced as of 2026-10-11.
Airspan’s answer in its FAQ (version 6, 2026-10-05) is that it can only commit to supporting the products it acquired. The ePMP and enterprise devices in the same account stay on the Cambium side. Plan the two halves separately, and save the configuration for both now.
No. Cambium’s migration guidance in Cambium Community thread 108849 is written for customers to follow themselves. Some estates want help with the order of steps, overrides and repointing; our cnMaestro on-premises migration runbook covers them.
No. Ambio Edge Networks is independent. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or a partner of Cambium Networks, Airspan Networks, Univastu or the administrators.
